Abiose is a health reporter with New Age Newspaper, based in Lagos. A graduate of Micro-Biology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She recently returned from a public health training at Harvard. She has overtime demonstrated her passion for HIV/AIDS issues with her frequent reports and coverage of the disease. According to her, the need to gain new insights and skills to better cover HIV/AIDS was the overriding reason she applied for this training. Back at the newsroom, she hopes to become an advocate of responsible journalism especially when the issue borders on HIV/AIDS.
